Tuniu.com released on September 4 that it had finished Round D financing valuing US$60M from Temasek, DCM and etc.
Yang Jiahong, CFO of Tuniu.com, said that the fund newly raised will be used to improve and optimize product structure, propel automation process and improve team building. The company has gained profits in Q1 and sales volume is expected to be RMB4B or so.
Founded in October 2006, Tuniu.com is dedicated in mass tourism, accepting booking of tourist products in such cities as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. By the first half year of 2013, it has offered more than 40,000 kinds of tourism products and served for over 3 million people.
